Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools : Improve Your Website ROI

51 reviews

About this Helpout

Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools can be overwhelming to anyone, even the experienced webmaster. There is the potential for so much information in those tools, so many statistics, that sometimes it's impossible to make heads or tails of what's important and what you should be looking at.

At the same time, getting a good grasp on both of these tools can significantly help you with your website or blog, helping you understand:
  • where your traffic is coming from
  • how successful you are at converting your traffic
  • and tracking guiding how you develop your site and content in the future
This Helpout is not a lecture or tutorial on Google Analytics or Google Webmaster Tools.

Instead, this Helpout is geared towards helping you answer the questions that you might have about your website and website traffic, and point you to the answers in the tool that will assist you. It is geared towards helping you develop a strategy for querying these tools, and using the statistics found within them to guide your process.

David was an excellent resource. In fact, he's so good that we'd rather hire him to be our Google Analytics support vs. having him teach us how to do it ourselves. IMPRESSIVE.
